AI Text Summarization System

Developed a full-stack AI-powered text summarization application that generates extractive and abstractive summaries from text, PDF, and DOCX files. Implemented secure user authentication and authorization using JWT, enabling protected access to summarization history and user-specific data. Built RESTful APIs using Express.js for document upload, text processing, summary generation, and history management. Integrated Groq AI API for abstractive summarization and implemented an extractive summarization algorithm for efficient text processing. Designed a MongoDB database to securely store user accounts and summary history for quick retrieval and management. Implemented file parsing for PDF and DOCX documents, along with input validation, exception handling, and responsive user interface for improved usability.
